I was born in Oslo at Josefinegaten women hospital 25th of October1958.

During my youth time, I found some like-minded people who I could share some «outside the box thoughts» and experiences with.

Later I moved to Sweden and studied drama and theatre at Goethebourg university.

In the beginning of the 80ties I moved back to Oslo-and started «Pelsjegerteateret» together with some friends.

After a couple of years I started as an actor in Theathe Beljash , an experimental theathre company in Oslo.

I went with them on some soul-setting tours and expeditions in Poland and Norway for some years.

In 1985 Stella Polaris Life theatre was born.

Per Spildra Borg, who became my life companion and husband, and me founded this boundary- braking project which is still ongoing.

We moved to Risør, a small city by the coast in south of Norway.

We lived there for ten years building up the theatre group and I gave birth to our tree sons during theese years.

In 1996 we moved the family and the theatre to Vestfold county , near Tønsberg, and continued with our work with heritage theatre, the pedagogic work with kids and young people, and we starded our international carieer.

In 2013 we moved to Sandefjord, a small city by the coast in the same region.

In 2017 I founded Footprint performance art to develope my own artistic pathway .

In 2018 I had my first exibition and performance in Sandefjord artgallery. I colaborated with two visual artists; Tollef Thorsnes and Ida Nove Cannon and the musicians ; Lars Fredrik Beckstrøm, Andreas Strand Renberg and Gabriel Klingen Borg. Per Spildra Borg was my performing art coach.

In 2019 I developed my performance for a outdoor event as a part of a art experience at a pilgrimage from Nøtterøy church to st Mikael church at the Castle mountain.

In 2020 Andreas Strand Renberg and me went to Lesjaverk north in Gudbrandsdalen, where I have my roots, to make a film. We did research, talked with my relatives, made music, photos and filmed inspired of the nature and the heritage.

In 2021 I got a state artist scholarship for 5 years which will give me space and time for going deeper with my art.

In august 2021 I went to Gardzienice in Poland with Andreas and Gabriel and showed the performance and the film in a small forest. I had used much time to translate the text to english. This was a new and interesting experience. The polish audience opened their hearts and souls , and we travelled together in a artistic pilgrimage experience.

In 2022 I started a new work called “The bearskin monologues” , “Bjørneskinns monologene” (in norwegian) . It s a concept of researching in the relation between man and nature. I write texts related to this topic, and I want to build a nomadic cathedral where I can make rituals and interactive actions for our planet.

In March I showed performance and film in a studio in Dep Artment studio in Oslo as a part of a artistic programme.

In April I showed the performance and film in Magyarlukafa , a little village in Hungary where me and my husband have a theatre and retreat center.

In July I was invited to Læsø art festival in Denmark to show performance and film and to open a new culture centre “Læsø gamle skole” which som friend of me have bought.

In September/october I made a installation in the tower of Tønsberg Cathedral . I showed the film “Returning home”and I made a new performance build on my texts in the “Bearskin monologues” about humans relations to nature. It was inspiering to do this work and to find ways of adapting to the bell tower.
